Programme Manager for Regional Development

Our client is an organisation that actively develops event initiatives in the field of security and defence. They bring together key industry players, organise professional forums, sectoral meetings, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the defence industry and fostering international cooperation.
 

We are looking for a Programme Manager for Regional Development capable of managing technical and production programmes while implementing innovative solutions within the defence industry sector. Your technical expertise and active collaboration with manufacturers across Ukraine will contribute to strengthening the country’s defence capabilities.

Preference will be given to candidates with military service experience or veteran status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support existing manufacturers within the alliance: coordination, operational issue resolution, and assistance across all areas of cooperation.

  • Provide consultations to manufacturers regarding participation in association programmes and projects.

  • Identify and attract new manufacturers to join the alliance.

  • Conduct presentations, meetings, and communication activities promoting the benefits of community participation.

  • Maintain and update the manufacturer database in internal systems.

  • Prepare analytical materials and reports for management on community status and member activity.

  • Ensure effective communication between community members and leadership.

  • Represent the association’s interests at meetings, events, and working groups.​

Requirements

  • Experience in managing technical or production projects.

  • Understanding of the principles of operation and production within the defence industry sector.

  • Experience working with R&D or production departments.

  • Technical education (engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or related fields) will be an advantage.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with technical contractors.

  • Confident user of office tools (MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets) and project management system Asana.

  • Proactive, decisive, and detail-oriented.

  • Having a personal vehicle will be an advantage.

  • Prepared to travel frequently across Ukraine.
