Bravo is a Ukrainian deep tech startup in defense communications, selected by Brave1 as the most advanced radio system for integration with foreign partners, winner of IT Arena 2025, and part of the first cohort of the Deep Tech We are looking for a Middle Embedded Engineer with strong experience in RF and network applications. You’ll contribute to radio stack development, participate in real-world field testing, and help shape reliable, scalable communication technology for the next generation of tactical systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop embedded software in C/C++ for STM32-based systems.

Co-design and maintain scalable system architecture for embedded and RF integrations.

Implement and validate low-level RF link protocols and packet handling.

Define and execute testing procedures for integrated hardware and software.

Participate in field testing and troubleshoot performance under real operational constraints (latency, interference, etc.).

Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Collaborate closely with the R&D team on system improvements and feature implementation.
Requirements

2+ years of experience in embedded systems development (bare-metal or RTOS).

Strong proficiency in C/C++, FreeRTOS/Azure RTOS, and STM32 HAL/LL.

Hands-on experience with embedded peripherals (SPI, UART, I2C, ADC, DAC, DMA).

Experience with RF transceivers and radio modulations (LoRa, FSK, GFSK, etc.).

Understanding of network architectures and QoS control between multiple transceivers.

Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for debugging.

English — Upper-Intermediate or higher (for documentation and communication).
Nice to Have

Knowledge of SDR architecture, bootloaders, or FPGA-based systems.

Experience with SX127x/SX126x/LR11xx/LR20xx transceivers.

Familiarity with FHSS, video codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1), and signal reliability under interference.

Field experience with integrated hardware testing and troubleshooting (telemetry, thermal behavior, etc.).
