UAV Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities
-
Assembly and full preparation of multirotor drones for testing, including mechanical, electrical, and firmware aspects.

Integration of core systems: flight control, navigation, video, communication, and payload.

Development, organization, and execution of field tests with complete documentation.

Troubleshooting and log analysis (Blackbox, ArduPilot, Betaflight, etc.).

Collecting and organizing feedback from pilots, military personnel, and field operators.
-
Proposing improvements for drone design and onboard systems.

Close collaboration with the R&D team to ensure rapid feedback exchange.
Requirements:

Understanding of UAV systems, particularly multirotors.
-
Hands-on experience with Betaflight.
-
Experience integrating peripheral devices via UART, I2C, CAN, SPI (e.g., cameras, telemetry).

Familiarity with RC systems, ground control stations, analog and digital video links.

Skills in drone assembly, repair, and tuning (soldering, mounting, balancing).

Experience working with flight logs (Blackbox, Mission Planner, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:

Basic scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash).

Experience with autopilot systems (ArduPilot, PX4, iNav, Betaflight).

Experience working with thermal cameras, video equipment, and other payloads.

English proficiency (for reading technical documentation).

Valid driver’s license (Category B).
