Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our manufacturing team. The majority of procurement activities are focused on Ukraine (approximately 70%), with additional work involving international suppliers, primarily from China and, less frequently, from the USA and Europe.
The role covers the full procurement cycle: supplier sourcing, negotiations, delivery organization, product control, and cost tracking. The Procurement Manager will work closely with the manufacturing, R&D, and warehouse teams.
Preference will be given to candidates with military service experience or veteran status.
Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and selecting suppliers in Ukraine and abroad (primarily Ukraine and China).

Communicating and negotiating with suppliers regarding pricing, cooperation terms, delivery timelines, and shipping methods.

Organizing and supporting logistics processes, taking into account current restrictions, customs requirements, and product-specific regulations (including batteries).

Collaborating with manufacturing, R&D, and warehouse teams: collecting requirements, placing and coordinating orders.

Managing the full procurement cycle: shipment, delivery, quality control, handling claims and returns.

Maintaining inventory records and monitoring stock levels, participating in the transition to procurement planning.

Participating in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes in BAS / ERP systems.

Working with contracts and primary documentation, entering data into BAS and Google Sheets.

Tracking procurement costs, preparing basic reports, and participating in procurement budgeting.

Contributing to the digitalization and automation of procurement and accounting processes.
Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operational roles.

English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher (for working with international suppliers).

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to reach agreements and defend decisions.

Willingness to take responsibility in complex and critical situations.

Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets (basic formulas, pivot tables).

Structured mindset, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.

Stress resilience, flexibility, and ability to work in a changing environment.

Teamwork skills and results-oriented approach.

Practical understanding of UAV design or basic knowledge of drone components will be an advantage.

Experience in procurement of electronics, carbon fiber, or composite materials is a plus.

Technical education or technical background is welcome.
