Chief Production Engineer (UAV)

Our client is a Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles — including FPV kamikaze drones, air defence drones, fibre optic drones, ground stations, antennas, and related equipment.
The company develops technological solutions for the defence sector — from guidance systems to radio communication complexes.
The team is growing and looking for a Chief Production Engineer to lead technical production management and ensure the quality and technological excellence of its unmanned systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of engineering and design problems and search for effective solutions to eliminate them in the production process.

Adaptation of new developments for serial production in close cooperation with the R&D team.

Creation and updating of technological processes, instructions for assembly, inspection, testing and calibration of UAVs.

Development and implementation of production standards, standardisation of technical documentation and quality control procedures.

Quality control at all stages of production and analysis of the causes of defects, followed by the development of corrective actions.

Supporting the fulfilment of current orders from military units and coordinating technological solutions for their implementation.

Testing and validation of finished products, analysis of flight logs and identification of sources of technical failures.
Requirements
- Required experience with UAVs — from assembly and configuration to diagnostics and repair.

Understanding of the principles of electronics, data transmission systems, power supply, motors, radio modules.

Skills in creating assembly diagrams, developing technical documentation, and analysing flight logs.

Experience in manufacturing, testing or servicing electronic systems.

Higher technical education (electronics, aviation technology or related fields).
