Business Development Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the representation in Ukraine, including office establishment and operational framework.

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy aligned with company goals and local regulations

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Ukrainian government agencies, defense industry partners, and international stakeholders

  • Identify new business opportunities, tenders, and co-development projects in line with portfolio

  • Represent the company at key industry forums, exhibitions, and governmentlevel meetings

  • Ensure that all operations are aligned with export control regulations and security protocols

  • Act as the main point of contact between  HQ and Ukrainian stakeholders 

Requirements

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in business development, strategic partnerships, or investment within defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology sectors

  • Understanding of Ukrainian military and defense tech landscape, including procurement processes and key players

  • Strong network across government, international donors, defense clusters, and innovation hubs

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Public Policy, or related field

  • Fluent English is a must

  • High integrity, diplomatic skills, and an ability to operate in complex political and regulatory environments
