AI Solution Engineer / Research and Adoption

Our client is a Ukrainian manufacturer of autonomous deep-strike UAVs capable of operating without GNSS. Together with combat units and local producers, the company develops a family of tactical UAVs to rapidly implement innovations and maintain technological superiority on the battlefield.
Key Responsibilities

Research and implement modern ML/AI technologies, including NLP, RL, RAG, Generative AI, CV, and Speech & Audio.

Develop and test MVP/demo solutions for internal use and assess their business value.

Build and integrate Generative AI services (LLM APIs, RAG systems, prompt/context engineering).

Design and maintain ML systems and pipelines, working with large datasets (SQL, NoSQL).

Set up and manage monitoring systems and experiment tracking tools for ML/Generative AI.

Track emerging trends in ML/AI and adapt them to business needs.
Requirements

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, AI architectures, and data analytics.

Experience with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Strong programming skills.

Experience working with large-scale data (SQL, NoSQL, data pipelines).

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Knowledge and practical experience with Generative AI: LLM APIs, RAG, prompt/context engineering.

Familiarity and experience with NLP, Reinforcement Learning, and Generative AI techniques.
Nice to have

Startup experience.

Knowledge of data pipelines, including ETL/ELT, batch, and streaming architectures.

Skills in developing web crawlers/scrapers to collect data from external sources.

Knowledge of microservice systems and AI solution integration with architecture (e.g., feedback loops).

Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices: CI/CD, MLOps, containerization, IaC (Kubernetes, AWS).
